The Igbo community women wing in Oyigbo LGA of Rivers State has paid a courtesy visit to HRH Eze Sunny Chinwuba Williams, the Eze Ndigbo of Oyigbo, to honour his leadership and present a trophy won by Igbo women in a recent football competition.

During the visit, the women officially presented the Igbo Women’s Football Match Cup to the monarch, celebrating the victory of the Igbo women’s team of Oyigbo in the tournament.

Receiving the trophy, Eze Chinwuba, also known as Eze Eziokwu Bu Ndu II of Ndigbo, expressed his delight at the achievement. He congratulated the team and the entire Igbo community for bringing home the cup, describing the victory as a testament to unity and excellence.

The visit, which underscored the importance of cultural harmony and community recognition, ended with prayers and goodwill messages from both sides.
