In a gesture symbolizing unity, goodwill, and the festive spirit of the season, His Royal Highness, Eze Hon. Sunny Chinwuba Williams, the Eze Eziokwu Bu Ndu II of Ndigbo and Igbo Council of Chiefs in Oyigbo, received a festive gift in the form of a cow.
The presentation was made by His Majesty, King Ateke Tom, revered traditional ruler and first Amanyanabo of the Okochiri Kingdom. The gift is intended for the Christmas celebrations of the Igbo Council of Chiefs in Oyigbo LGA of Rivers State, under the leadership of Eze Williams.
During the presentation, King Ateke Tom extended his best wishes for a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to the Ndigbo people of Oyigbo.
Upon accepting the gift, Eze Sunny Chinwuba Williams expressed his deep gratitude to King Ateke Tom for the generous and thoughtful present. He described it as a “symbol of brotherhood and intercommunity harmony” that would greatly enhance the festive joy of his people.
He stated, “I am deeply grateful for this kind gesture from His Majesty, the Amanyanabo of Okochiri. It is a testament to the peace and mutual respect we have fostered. I express my sincere gratitude and assure you of our continued friendship and cooperation for the progress of our people and the entire state.”
