A traditional royal scion has thrown his weight behind Abia State Governor Alex Otti, praising his administration’s rapid developmental strides and efforts to secure endangered communities.

Speaking at the 'Abia State Youth Initiative For Peace And Development' organised by the Concerned Indigenous Youth Forum (CIYF) in Umuahia, Prince Enyinna Kingsley Michael declared that Governor Otti has exceeded expectations in just a few years in office.

“When we talk about infrastructure, development and security, our governor has performed creditably. This is just the beginning, and I see a greater Abia ahead,” he said.

While speaking about his community, Hon. Kingsley noted that the people of Akirika-Obu Ndoki in Ukwa-East Local Government Area of Abia State, have frequently faced attacks from criminal elements intent on destabilizing the area and attempting to unlawfully annex the Abia community. The royal son specifically expressed gratitude for the improved security response in his community, and amplified the community's appreciation for Governor Alex Otti's administration.

“I also extend appreciation to the CIYF and others for amplifying the plight of Akirika-Obu and ensuring that both state and federal authorities took notice. I am confident that permanent peace is on the horizon,” he added.

Comrade Stanley Nwagbara, Chairman of the CIYF, reinforced the prince's message, urging the youth to remain vigilant and supportive of the current administration. “We must protect our state and support those who have our interests at heart. Peace in every community, including Akirika-Obu Ndoki, is non-negotiable, and we are committed to ensuring lasting solutions,” Nwagbara said.
