In a ceremony aimed at promoting community leadership, His Royal Highness, Eze Hon. Sunny Chinwuba Williams, the Eze Eziokwu Bu Ndu II, has conferred chieftaincy titles upon several prominent Igbo men in Oyigbo Local Government Area.
The event, held on December 6, 2025, at the Ndigbo Palace in Obigbo, saw the monarch present certificates of recognition to the new chiefs.
The occasion was attended by the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) and other security operatives, who offered their congratulations. The security officials charged the newly installed chiefs with the responsibility of fostering peace and harmony within the community.
In his address, Eze Chinwuba charged the newly honored chiefs to leverage their new offices as instruments for peace and societal development. He emphasized their role in steering progress and maintaining stability in Oyigbo.
