Iran’s Fars News Agency reported Saturday that President Masoud Pezeshkian suffered minor leg injuries in an Israeli strike on a high-level security meeting in Tehran last month.
The June 17 attack targeted a building housing Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, with six projectiles hitting entrances and exits.
Iran's officials evacuated safely, but authorities suspect an insider leak due to the precision of the attack.
The incident occurred during a 12-day conflict between Israel and Iran, which saw mutual airstrikes before a U.S.-brokered ceasefire took effect on June 24, 2025.
